
Fundacja Global African Dialogue has kicked off its business hackathon project funded by the Ashoka Foundation through the Fundusz Tutaj program, aimed to empower participants through a comprehensive program that includes a hackathon, IT training and apprenticeship placements. The project’s timeline was meticulously planned to ensure smooth progression and maximum benefit to all participants.
Activity Timeline and Description
- Info Day Session (March 2024): The project kicked off with an Info Day session held online. This session aimed to immerse participants in a modern business environment and served as the initial stage of recruitment. It provided an opportunity for the target beneficiaries to understand the project’s objectives and envision their potential growth.
- Hackathon Session (April 2024): Three hackathon sessions were conducted on April 24, 25, and 29, 2024 to foster innovation and creativity among participants. This event challenged participants to develop solutions to real-world problems using technology, promoting teamwork and practical skills.
Other planned activities
IT Training (May 12, 2024):
Concurrently with the hackathon, one IT training program was held to equip participants with essential technical skills. This training was crucial for enabling participants to effectively engage in the hackathon and subsequent project phases. Participants learned how to create their business website
